Homemade Waffles with cardamom and sour cream

Cardamom is a wonderful spice.

Everyone should have it in their spice rack.

Go out and get yourself some today!

You may just have a new Fall spice to make your home smell like the Holidays are coming!

Cardamom and Sour cream Waffles

1 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2 tso baking powder

3/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp ground cardamom

1 cup whole milk

1 cup sour cream

1 tsp vanilla

1 tbsp honey

2 eggs

3 tbsp melted butter

1.   Preheat waffle iron till hot.

2.  Mix together dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

3.  Whisk together remaining (wet) ingredients and whisk into bowl of dry ingredients until well mixed without lumps.

4.  Lightly brush waffle iron with oil or use canola spray.

5.  Use about 1/2 cup of waffle mix or cook according to your waffle maker instructions.
