The Kitchen Is Closed. Vacation part 1

April 19, 2010

For those hoping for a recipe…I am sorry.

The kitchen is closed.

We are on vacation.

Vacation = No cooking but lots of eating!

Suriname food

Caribbean Chinese food.

Johnny cakes

Croquettes

Clover’s home cooking

Anabelle  was a good girl for the travel here despite the 2 hour turned 6 hour layover in Miami because of RAIN.

She has a monkey backpack/leash that kept her close to us.  She was inspired.  She ate a whole banana while she waited for our connecting flight.

We stayed a couple of days in St. Maarten with my sister Cindy and her family and went to the beach.

Simpson Bay Lagoon

She resembles Popeye here.

We joined my brother and his girlfriend who are visiting from Holland and then traveled by boat to Saba.

Anabelle slept through it.  I puked! Turf Boy had much better sea legs.

More to come of our Saba adventures.
